Scholarship Giveaway: There’s More Good To Come

On November 8, we’ll be celebrating the collaborative efforts performed by volunteer designers over a 24-hour blitz for five Los Angeles nonprofit organizations at the Design for Good LA Wrap Up Party at General Assembly in Santa Monica.

To help us commend the blitz, our sponsor General Assembly will be awarding one lucky AIGA member a seat in their upcoming Product Management business course, beginning November 18 at the GA LA campus in Santa Monica (worth $3,250). To enter the scholarship giveaway, fill out this application by November 9 and let GA know why you want to learn about product management.

Product Management lies at the intersection of business, design and technology, allowing you to gauge whether a product is viable from a business perspective. It’s a 10 week in-person course about how to effectively determine key risks and assumptions of a given product, identify different business models, create wireframes, MVPs and basic prototypes, utilize usability tests, speak to developers, and measure a product’s success. It’s taught at General Assembly, an education company that transforms thinkers into creators through educational offerings in business, technology, and design.

Fill out this application by November 9 for your chance to win.

If you want to learn more about the course, meet instructors and alumni, there is an info session on Tuesday, October 29 at 7:30pm at General Assembly. Register here: https://generalassemb.ly/education/product-management/los-angeles#info-session

We’ll be mixing and mingling in General Assembly’s beautiful space on Friday, November 8, to celebrate the collaborative efforts performed over 24 hours for the five Los Angeles organizations at the Wrap Up Party.
