AIGA Los Angeles, along with Hub LA and Taproot Foundation are calling on local creative professionals to lend their skills to help promote design thinking while doing good at the same time.

Design for Good L.A. 2013: 24-hour Design Blitz
Friday October 18 to Saturday, October 19, 2013.
2pm Friday to 2pm Saturday.

Over the course of 24 hours, five teams of professional creatives will collaborate to develop start-to-finish solutions for five local non-profits, chosen based on need by the AIGA Los Angeles Board of Directors and Event Programming Committee. But we can’t do this without you.

DfGLA is is open to all working professional creatives — graphic designers, illustrators, interactive experts, copywriters, photographers. Interested parties should sign up to participate by filling out our online application. There are only 30 spots available. Participants will be chosen based on application order and the requirements of the non-profit organizations’ project briefs, and will be announced October 11th.

Items to bring: Personal laptop Charger Power strip if possible Hub LA will not be covering any office supplies so we would like to encourage your teams to bring in their own materials should they need it.

Printing costs: $.05 for B/W and $1.50 for Color.
