One is simply anemic without the other. Our final event of the Professional Series will feature partners Margo Chase and Chris Lowery of Chase Design Group in an unmoderated discussion about balancing creativity + business.

About the Professional Series
The Professional Series is a program of conversations about today’s business of design. Professionals and entrepreneurs from a range of design enterprises will gather to discuss how each are growing their businesses through financial modeling, business development, recruitment and retention, innovation practices and, above all, great design.

Introducing Blueprint
The Professional Series will be relaunched early next year as Blueprint. Blueprint will be an ongoing series of events that focus on the business aspect of design. Aimed at business owners, freelancers, and students, Blueprint features presentations, panel discussions, and workshops all designed to decode the mysteries behind cultivating a successful design business.

Margo Chase Bio
Since founding Chase Design Group in 1986, Margo’s vision has provided the fuel for Chase Design Group’s growth and achievement. Recognized worldwide for her skill with custom typography and identity development, Margo is dedicated to creating client success through high-quality, intelligent creative. In a recent Graphic Design USA reader’s poll, Margo was one of only two designers to make the top ten in both “Most Influential Graphic Designers of the Era” and“ Most Influential Graphic Designers Today”.

Chris Lowery Bio
As President of Chase Design Group, Chris manages new business development and leads account strategy for all major accounts. Chris also participates creatively in large projects, from overarching concept and copywriting to guiding overall design development. Chris came to Chase from Leo Burnett in Chicago, where he worked on the Oldsmobile, Marlboro, and Nintendo accounts. Over the course of his fourteen years at Chase Design Group, Chris has played a key role in hundreds of successful projects, redefining the way the agency views the role of creative in business.
