AIGA LA’s next fieldtrip will offer a docent lead tour of FIDM Museum’s annual #ArtOfCostumeDesign exhibition. This exhibit has become a tradition for LA locals and movie lovers alike. 

This year’s exhibition will feature a variety of film genres that represent outstanding achievement in costume design. Fan favorites along with Academy Award® nominees and this year’s winner, Ruth Carter for Black Panther, will be on display in celebration of the dedication and creativity of costume designers and their teams.

This year’s featured Academy Award Costume Design nominees are:
Ruth Carter / Black Panther
Sandy Powell / The Favorite & Mary Poppins Returns
Alexandra Byrne / Mary Queen of Scots
Mary Zophres / The Ballad of Buster Scruggs

Parking is available underneath the FIDM building at 9th Street just before Grand Avenue (This is an independent parking garage and the rate is $5 per day, validation is not available.)
