Leading up to our Annual Portfolio Review event in Spring, AIGA LA will be hosting mini-reviews.

Each review will follow a theme, so no worries if you happen to miss this one. There will be other reviews in the future that perhaps, may better fit what you’re looking for. We’re opening the review session for participants to present their work or just to listen in. AIGA LA will select three portfolios to review based on a first-come-first-serve basis. All submitters are invited to listen in during the review.

Theme: Get Your Sh*T Together — It’s Internship Season

Design Challenge: Present 3 projects in 10 minutes

In the age of Zoom interviews, how do you make your portfolio stand out from the crowd? How to do you convey a 360-perspective of your work in the first ten minutes and get that internship? Each designer will present 3 projects within a time limit of 10 minutes with 20 minutes of critique and discussion. The event will close with an open Q&A for everyone to participate. To apply to present your portfolio, select the “Apply to Present” ticket option. To be a spectator only, select the “Attendee Only” ticket option.

This is a virtual event using Zoom. Once you are registered, an email will be sent at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, March 3, with a link to join the online event.
