This fall, AIGA Los Angeles is co-presenting the screening of Rams, filmmaker Gary Hustwit’s forthcoming documentary about legendary designer Dieter Rams, with original music by Brian Eno.
The Los Angeles premiere screening is hosted by Gary Hustwit, best known for the design film trilogy: Helvetica, Objectified, and Urbanized. There will be a discussion with the director following the film.
ABOUT THE FILM
For over fifty years, Dieter Rams has left an indelible mark on the field of product design and the world at large with his iconic work at Braun and Vitsoe. Rams is a design documentary, but it’s also a rumination on consumerism, materialism, and sustainability. Dieter’s philosophy is about more than just design, it’s about a way to live.
