They called us crazy. They said it couldn’t be done. “Well,” we said, “we believe in the power of good.” AIGA Los Angeles, along with Hub LA and Taproot Foundation present Design for Good LA 2013: 24-Hour Design Blitz. We’re calling on local creative professionals to lend their skills to help promote design thinking while doing good at the same time. Over the course of 24 hours, five teams of professional creatives will collaborate to develop creative solutions for five local non-profits, selected by Taproot Foundation and chosen based on need by the AIGA Los Angeles Board of Directors and Event Programming Committee.

Design teams will be evenly mixed with different experience levels per group to encourage varying perspectives and mentorship/learning, and each team will have a senior design leader to help guide the team. Design for Good LA (DfGLA) provides an opportunity for creatives to build their skills and network while promoting the power of design thinking in a highly visible way.
