Call for Submissions: AIGA LA Logo Design Book — IN COMMON PRACTICE: LA

42 years. That’s how long AIGA Los Angeles has been gathering the people who shape how this city looks. For our 42nd, we’re making a book: IN-COMMON PRACTICE: LA. An archive drawn from our community—not built in isolation, but through shared practice.

A logo is rarely the work of one hand. It is shaped by the friend who reviewed your sketches at midnight, the client who pushed you past your first idea, the city itself bending the way you see. This book is a living record of that network.

Most logo books are built from proximity, from who knows who. We’re doing it differently. This open call exists because the LA design community is bigger, richer, and more textured than the rooms most archives are made in. We’re looking for logos from the full spectrum of LA designers—emerging voices alongside established names, and work ranging from client commissions to self-initiated, personal, or experimental logos.

If you’ve created a logo that reflects your practice, your perspective, or your place in this city, we want to see it. Help us build a more complete record of LA design by contributing your work.

Please submit one form per logo:
→ Non-members:
Up to 3 logos
→ AIGA LA members: Unlimited (yep, that’s right!)

Submissions are free.

Share your work and become part of LA’s visual record. Submit your logo(s) and help build an archive that celebrates collaboration, creativity, and the city we shape together.
