October marks a major moment for LA’s creative community. The AIGA National Design Conference is coming to Los Angeles for the first time in many years. We’re kicking it off with a special pre-conference event curated by AIGA LA.
This curated evening will highlight emerging designers and their work, bringing together creative professionals for networking, community-building, and inspiration. Adobe will be on-site with branded swag and giveaways (while supplies last), supported by additional sponsors.

Are you an emerging designer looking to be part of the showcase? We’re inviting emerging designers to submit original artwork to be featured at the Emergence Designer Showcase, held at Helms Design Center and sponsored by Adobe.
Submission Guidelines:
- Original work by emerging designers
- Size: 18in x 24in, vertical orientation
- Format: Print-ready PDF
- If selected, you must be available to attend the showcase on October 8
All artists who submit work will be automatically entered into a raffle to win a full conference ticket to the 2025 AIGA Design Conference, taking place October 9–11.
Deadline to Submit: September 17, 2025
Space is limited. Selected artwork will be displayed during the event and viewed by design professionals, art directors, educators, and fellow creatives.

Q: Can I get a refund?
A: Refunds can be requested through Eventbrite and are available up to 1 day before the event date. In the case that a refund request is not submitted within the allotted time, it will be considered a donation to our organization.
