Call for Designers

AIGA Los Angeles, along with Hub LA and Taproot Foundation are calling on local creative professionals to lend their skills to help promote design thinking while doing good at the same time.

Design for Good L.A. 2014: 24-hour Design Blitz
Saturday October 4 to Sunday, October 5, 2014.
9am Saturday to 9am Sunday.

Over the course of 24 hours, teams of professional creatives will collaborate to develop start-to-finish solutions for local non-profits, chosen based on need by the AIGA Los Angeles Board of Directors and Event Programming Committee. But we can’t do this without you!

DfGLA is is open to all working professional creatives — graphic designers, illustrators, interactive experts, copywriters, photographers. Interested parties should sign up to participate by filling out our online application. There are only 25 spots available. Participants will be chosen based on application order and the requirements of the non-profit organizations’ project briefs, and will be announced the week of September 22nd.

We encourage you to throw your hat in the ring. If you’re interested in participating, please fill out the form below, and we’ll be in touch.

Items to bring: Personal laptop and charger. Power strip if possible. Hub LA will not be covering any office supplies so we would like to encourage your teams to bring in their own materials should they need it.
